After an early breakfast proceed to the Piazza of Basilica of St. Peter for the Papal Audience. Afternoon travel to Assisi, place of one of the most beloved saints, Francis, the fi rst recorded Stigmatist. Visit Santa Maria degli Angeli built over the most important place for Franciscans, the Porziuncola where Francis announced his vocation and declared poverty. Here is the “Transito” Cell where he died. Mass Basilica of St. Francis. Crypt of St. Francis and companions. Subject to availability. Early breakfast. Travel back to Rome—Appian Way, view Quo Vadis Chapel, St. Callixtus Catacombs. Trevi Fountain. Hotel check in, overnight Rome. Dinner included.

Flight to Lisbon Mass at Convent Our Lady of Miracles/Poor Clare nuns (St. Jacinta lived here when she was ill.) Travel to Fatima, stopping in Santarem (subject to availability) Visit the Basilica, tombs, museum. Leisure: new church, confessions, holy hour. Dinner included. 9:00 p.m. procession. Overnight Fatima.

Depart for London, arrival London. A panorama tour leads us in the “Footsteps” of St. Thomas More. Visit House of Parliament (subject to availability) where the Saint and his father practiced law. See the spot where St. Thomas was tried for treason in 1535. Continue to his birthplace, Milk Street. Complete the day with a fun site, “The London Eye.” (Optional ride on this world-famous Ferris wheel and enjoy a spectacular view of the city. Must have signed parental consent for minors.) Hotel check in. Dinner included.
After breakfast we begin site seeing of Westminster Abbey, place of many coronations and weddings. We expect to arrive for our “Royal” site seeing outside England's most famous residence, Buckingham Palace. Hopefully see the color guard ceremony and changing of the guards (subject to availability). Then stop at Lambeth Palace where St. Thomas More served as Archbishop. Here he was interrogated prior to imprisonment in the Tower of London. Afternoon allows time to visit St. Paul's Cathedral, wedding place of Princess Diana and Prince Charles. Continue to Chelsea Old Church. Complete the site seeing with Mass, Brompton Oratory, Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Dinner on your own. Overnight London.
Following breakfast, proceed for Mass and visit of Westminster Cathedral. On to Tower of London. See the dazzling Crown Jewels, guarded by the Beefeaters— if possible, tomb of St. Thomas More. Crypt inside St. Peter ad Vincula. This is the parish church of the Tower of London. Enjoy a lunch cruise on the River Thames. After, while enjoying the scenery along the route, listen to a well-presented commentary about the amazing history of London. Explore places for dinner on your own. Overnight London.
After breakfast we will be transferred to Heathrow airport for a fl ight home.
